Elaine Lau
Elaine Lau joined Gonzalez & Harris in 2005 after six years as an immigration paralegal in Washington, D.C. and Southern California. She has comprehensive experience with employment-based and family-based petitions, including labor certification applications, adjustment of status, travel and work authorization documents and immigrant petitions. Her experience also encompasses consular processing of immigrant and nonimmigrant visas abroad.
Ms. Lau received a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia. She frequently attends continuing education seminars to keep abreast of changes in immigration law and procedures. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
