AILA's Cutting Edge Issues in Worksite Compliance & Enforcement being held on Friday, December 12, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana 11/5/2008
 

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is holding two one-day CLE conferences on December 11th and 12th - Fundamentals & Worksite Enforcement - at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place, New Orleans, Louisiana. Josie Gonzalez is Conference Program Chair for Cutting Edge Issues in Worksite Compliance & Enforcement being held on Friday, December 12, 2008. This program is designed to provide valuable insights from those in the trenches -- criminal defense, corporate and immigration attorneys -- about how to prepare for increased ICE enforcement at the worksite and how to cope with new regulatory and legislative developments. You will receive in depth, cutting-edge information on a multitude of subjects including E-Verify risk assessment, I-9 ICE audits and raids, recent criminal prosecutions including what constitutes "harboring," state law update, federal contractor and subcontractor responsibilities, developing corporate compliance programs and thorny ethical issues.
