John E. Taussig

John E. Taussig has been practicing immigration law since 1985, and also has a background in constitutional and criminal law. He manages the firm’s Nonimmigrant Visa Unit, focusing on nonimmigrant applications for professional employees, managers, and executives (H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3), treaty investment employees and companies (E-2), as well as permanent residency applications for international managers and executives, outstanding researchers and professors, and other individuals of extraordinary ability.

Mr. Taussig received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University, his law degree from Whittier College of Law, and spent two years as a Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in South America. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the First Amendment Lawyers Association. Mr. Taussig was admitted to the California State Bar in 1980; U.S. Tax Court in 1982; U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, in 1983; U.S. District Court, Central District of California, in 1983; and U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, in 1988. He is bilingual (Spanish).
